James Cain died 1901-1909 - don't know where but there doesn't seem to be any candidates on BL's burials.

Elizabeth Shimmin daughter of John Shimmin & Ann Quirk is another possibility but she is not mentioned in her father John Shimmin's will in 1836

As you can probably tell we have spent many hours researching likely candidates!

By a process of elimination Isabel Shimmin c 18/5/1794 daughter of Charles Shimmin & Isabella Mylchreest is the least unlikely candidate!

Moving on to Charles & Isabella.
Isabella (as a widow) is with her son Charles in 1851 & is buried in German 18/8/1851 but we cannot find either Charles or Isabella on 1841.
There is a burial for Charles Shimmin-
SHIMMIN, Charles 85 German 11 Nov 1843
If that is this Charles then he could well be the son of John Shimmin & Margaret Mylchreest of Eary moare German c 21/3/1759
