Hi Carol, Really good to hear from you. Most of the records that would help track Richard Cain are in the Christchurch Library but I'm based in Wellington. Did Richard come to NZ before John, as I found no record of them traveling together. None of my family emigrated here (other than mine) so the NZ websites / information sources are new to me. It may take a while but I'll make further inquiries. I looked up other Cain's who emigrated from the IOM and died in WW1, there are three listed.
