I think that the reason I didn't get back to you was that I have so little information.

James Cain married Margaret Elizabeth Gilmour (my great grand aunt) in 1875 IOM and had 12 children - some of whom I have been unable to track down.

As far as I know:-
One of their sons Richard Benjamin Cain married Anna Louisa Pennal in 1915 New Zealand & apparently had 11 children including a daughter Esther J Cain who married William Howatt.

RBC died 1970 New Zealand.

RBC's brother John Joseph Cain b 1886 IOM died 16/8/1918 in the Battle of the Somme - a private 1st Bn Auckland Regiment NZEF.
So he was probably in NZ too.

I have no more info regarding places. I don't want you to spend time tracking them down as they are only a sideline to my tree. If you know of any websites that may help me please let me know.
