Hi Carol,
Thanks for your assistance, keep up the good work it's much appreciated. I met another Carol a few years ago in the Family History Centre and she assisted me find my grandparents marriage certificate. This lead to me finding my great grandfathers name and occupation in Ireland. In May this year I returned to Ireland to visit my family. Through numerous sources I found baptismal records for all my great grandparents children. In addition I found my great grandfathers will and death notices for both my great grandparents in the library archives (1887 &1892). Then I discovered relatives still living in a little village named Drumbeg and my great grandparents grave. They are buried in a beautiful churchyard of St Patrick's, Drumbeg (church history is online). The point of me telling you this is that a tiny clue or a name that can be authenticated can open up a wealth of information. Thank you again and thanks to the other Carol, hope you are keeping well if you happen to read this message. Thanks to all the other volunteers as well who take time to respond irrespective of how trivial their queries may be.
Kind Regards
Frank Millar
