Sorry I haven't found anything new on Richard William as of yet or any record for the death of his father Richard Pugh.

I did find a record for the marriage of John Clucas to Catherine Quilliam on 18th January 1814, Malew and another for their son John Clucas being christened on 10th October 1819, Malew, which matches the 1841 Census.

They could well be Martha's grandparents but I would like to find out if marriage / christening actually took place in Castletown to be sure.
