I think you may have the wrong Elizabeth, Elizabeth Wookey married Thomas Harrop 1846 in Liverpool. There was a John Clucas who married Mary Gawne 1846 at the same church, St Philips.

There was a marriage in Malew 1841 between Elizabeth Lockley and John Clucas, she was from Bishop Castle not far from Newtown, see IGI.

In the 1841 census there was an Elizabeth Loughland working at Government House next to where a John Clucas was Living, I wonder if this could be the same person.
