Hi Both I think I have got to the bottom of this link. I have followed your train of thought and come up with the following.
on the 1871 Census Richard William Pugh, born Richard William Clucas 10 Jan 1864 Mother Martha Clucas born c1845 later married Richard Pugh 6/11/1864. On the 1861 Census Martha is a Servant at Glengreenough? in Santan. On the 1851 Census she is aged 6 living with her parents and siblings at 103 Douglas Street Castletown. So all in all not a bad branch! I just need to put some meat on the bones now,thanks again for your help. Dave
