Found hm on 1901 Census and noticed he was a timber labourer. On 1891 Census there is a William Clucas aged 27, so birth year c1863/64 also a timber labourer with a wife Sarah A. There was a marriage of a William Clucas and a Sarah A Leader in 1896 (though after this census?). Will see what I can find on him for you on Ancestry. Do you not have the marriage certificate to Amelia as this would give his Fathers name/occupation?
