Are you trying to make Peter Senr in the will fit the M.I.? He didn't mention a wife Elinor, only son's wife Ellin/Elinor, and he couldn't have been aged 50 in 1823 if his sons were bapt 1772 and 1774.
The dates in M.I.s are often a bit wrong because the stone might have been erected years later. Neither of the two Peter Corkill burials on Oct 4 1822 and Jan 29 1823 fit the February 1st 1822 death date on the M.I., but the age and wife given are right for Peter Junr. - Or it could be some other Peter Corkill's M.I., but unlikely because the place name given was Ballachrink where they lived. Anyway, it doesn't matter because the parish records and wills clearly show to which Peter Corkills they refer.

Peter Senr's wife Jane CORKILL was buried Maughold Jan 29 1802. Epis will proved 29 Jun? 1802 - two children Peter and John Corkill.
