Possibly Robert bapt 20 Dec.1784 Maughold son of John Corkill & Ellinor Casement.

Robert CORKILL aged 93 yrs, Ballakilley, buried Maughold March 17 1875. MI transcript had aged 91, and the date March 17th 1885 (1885 a typo?).

With regard to the other couple as the possible parents - Robert bapt 11 June 1820, son of Peter Corkill & Elinor Clague. I have a gravestone photo of the MI of Peter Corkill and wife Elenor, but it is covered in lichen, and I can make out only the age (50) and death date of Peter (Feb 1st 1822) which would have been soon after Robert's birth. It has a place name which I can't read. Wife Elenor looks like d. May ?1st 186- aged 87?

Could someone please look up the MI transcript?
