Hi - I've noticed with children's bapts that there is often a gap before the last child, so I don't think that is significant. However the Corkill/Clague is a problem.

I think it is unlikely that Elinor's husband Peter Corkill took up with another Elinor because the baptism was in Maughold and not recorded as illegitimate. The two Peter Corkills (father and son) died in 1823. I took only brief notes from their wills because not the Peter I was looking for, but Peter Junr's wife Ellin and his underage children were mentioned. Their names might have been recorded, but I didn't note them. You could order the wills to view at a LDS Family History Centre - both are on film no.0106243, numbers 59 and 60.
There was also a will for a Peter Corkill in 1850 (no.65, film no.0106253), but I think this could have been the Peter C. who was married to Ann Kirmeen, with no children that I know of.

Elinor b.1777 could have been the widow Elinor Corkill who on 7 July 1826 Maughold married Peter Corkill's cousin widower Thomas Corkill whose wife had died in 1824 leaving 5 small children. Her age was given as 72 in 1851 (Thomas was younger), and as 78 at burial, Ard, Maughold, 13 Nov.1853.
