Hi,

I know a little about this Edward Creer, a lead miner, who was indeed married to Barbara Liddell. He was illegitimate, christened in Marown in 1817, and I am unable to identify his larger family - and so cannot say whether he was related to the Corkhills in any way. He appears to be a bit of a wanderer - In 1861 he was living in Rushen, in 1862 he and family sailed to Australia on the Star of Brunswick - and in 1881 the family is found in Arlecdon in Cumberland.
