Yes, the Corkills were confusing because there were so many of them, and in Maughold Corkill often married Corkill who were sometimes cousins and sometimes unrelated.

Thomas CORKILL 55 Linen & Woollen weaver Isle of Man
Eleanor CORKILL 60 Isle of Man
John CORKILL 20 Lead ore miner Isle of Man
In this family Thomas's eldest brother inherited the farm, and younger sons were weavers or miners. I didn't see an occupation for Peter, but Peter Senr's wife (another Corkill!) came from the same land-owning family as Thomas.
