Both Peter Corkills died of smallpox. One buried on Oct 4 1822, and the other on Jan 29 1823. Was it Peter Senr who died first, do you know?

Robin, my suggestion that Peter Junr's widow Elinor possibly married Peter's cousin widower Thomas Corkill was wrong, if this is Peter Junr's M.I. - Although the dates differ from the burials, everything else fits.
