I think you've caught the bug! It is fun to see all the bits and pieces fit together like a giant jigsaw puzzle. And fun too, to see that you've possibly made some wrong assumptions (as I did with Charles and Philip Skillicorn who sold land to Daniel Kermode), and then try to figure out the right connection. I have been interested to see how many Kermodes intersect the Skillicorn families I've been trying to document. Well, as Donna said, it is a small island, and the parish of Lonan even smaller!
