Just to clarify: Neither Ann Skillicorn nor Margaret Skillicorn are my ancestors.
My husband has two Skillicorn ancestors--one line only goes back to John (born ca 1767) who married Margaret Corrin in 1794; the other, back to James Skillicorn, according to the census born in German 1824, possibly the son of Edward Skillicorn and Esther Corkill (however the marriage record of James Skillicorn to Ellen Skillicorn says James' father is John!).
I have investigated the other Lonan Skillicorns with the pie-in-the-sky goal of connecting them all to a common ancestor, so I have lots of Skillicorn information (and a lot of loose ends!)
