I have come across a will of the above. Dated 1843. Widowed. From Douglas. In it she mentions 3 grandchildren, Ann, Isabella and Elizabeth (dau's of John Kelly ).

Ann m. Thomas Kewley. Elizabeth m. William Corlett.
Isabella m. Thomas Quayle.

She also mentions another grandchild Isabella who married William Taggart. I am assuming this is the dau. of Robert, her other son. This is the Isabella I am interested in, as she is my husbands geat grandmother.

1. When was Isabella Kermode b. and to whom.?
2. Was her husband James Kelly ( as this is the only record I can find ( m.30/1/1779 malew).?
3. Is this Isabella Kelly the dau. of Robert or did Isabella Kermode have other sons not mentioned in the will?

Other grandchildren mentioned are:
Roberts children, Robert, Edd, Mary Ann, Margaret, Eliza and isabella.

BTW..the will also mentions her sister Elizabeth, who married a Quayle.

Any info on this family would be greatly appreciated. I am starting to think the manxes did a lot of intermarrying or they just all happened to have the same names.( no offence intended).
