Because the thread got so indented I thought a quick resume (see www.manxnotebook.com/famhist/families/awm1889/goldie.htm for chart) would help - any quoted years etc can be found in an extracted record.
John Taubman I (b1704) m Isabel Cubbon (d/o Richard) in 1731/2 and obtained Ballacredgeen
They had 8 children - eldest son John II - John I goes onto a second marriage Elizth Creer in 1793 with 5 children last in 1803 being posthumous.
John II marries Margt Moore Feb 1757 (the actual day is not given in the register) and has 5 children from extracted records -
Margt dies 1786 naming 8 ch John, Thomas, William, Henry, Richard,Elizabeth, Jane and Salisbury Taubman + Cath already married;by probate henry Taylor h/o Jane
Several of these children settle in Rushen (Cregneash + Port St Mary - the cubbon family would appear to have long standing links with a Nelson/Kneale family in Cregneash as mentioned in Cath Cubbon als Credgeene's will(mother of Richard)
The MI's to some of these children give ages and thus approx bith dates indicated by []
Cath b Rus 17571102, m John Cooil 1775
?Elizth Arb 17591212

The missing child in the list is Henry
There is a marriage Henry to Jane Stole 1798 in Malew with 4 children Robt,Deborah,Quayle + Henry before Jane's death 1807;
(Jane is almost certainly youngest d/o Thomas Stole + Deborah Anderson als Quayle
There is a second marriage of Henry to Esther Cowle Braddan 1811 with 8 children but two appear to have died in infancy - Esther d 1851 and is bur age 66 Malew
In 1841c Henry + Esther + 2 children are in a multioccupancy dwelling in Mill Street Castletown.
in 1851c Henry now a widower, is sharing a house with son George and family (a stonemason) also in Mill St
Esther is I think d/o Wm Cowle + Patience Quay m Braddan 17831011
There is no known burial for Henry - in 1841 age is given (rounded) as 60 and a mariner, 1851 age 78 a weaver? (hand somewhat poor) retired which gives birth 1772/3 which fits in as the henry s/o John + Margt Moore
The ancestry of Patience was the query as well as the linkage of the two Henrys
