Hi - If you go back to John Robinson's tree via Donna which started this thread, you can see that it is the same as your one except for Generation 1 (Henry).

Where you have "?" he has John TAUBMAN (1616-1689) married to Ellinor WHETSTONE.

When I wrote that there was an error with the death date of John Taubman in Generation 2 (1754-1824), because his will showed that he had no children [www.iomfhs.im/lawsons/twill/1824_012.html] it was I who was wrong. His parents, burial date, and will all look correct. It was Generation 1, Henry, who should have been elsewhere.

I think Henry should be with the Arbory family (John Taubman, 1737-1803, Ballacrejeen Balladoole Arbory, will 1804, and mother Margaret Moore).

Donna gave me John Robinson's information which said that John's parents were John 1707-1755 [www.iomfhs.im/lawsons/twill/1755_015.html] and Isabel CUBBON bapt 2 Nov 1710 d/o Thomas Cubbon.

The parents of John 1707-1755 were Thomas TUBMAN 1650-1728 marr. Margaret NORRIS 1703. John T. Tailor of Whitestone, several properties in the area, Will probated Malew 1728 [www.iomfhs.im/lawsons/twill/1728_007.html]

Margaret NORRIS bapt 23 Aug 1668 in Malew. She died in 1733. Inherited Whitestone from her mother Salsbury Norris als Tubman in 1698. [www.iomfhs.im/lawsons/twill/1733_014.html], and [www.iomfhs.im/lawsons/twill/1698_002.html].

The "Salisbury" name was used again for one of the nine children of John T. and Margt Moore of Arbory, her direct descendant.

This tree, if correct (and it looks pretty good to me), coincides with the one at the top of this thread with the sisters Elizabeth and Margaret Norris, and their parents John Norris & Salsbury Tubman.
