yes I too read weaver - son George is still in Mill street in 1861 but minus father - I too could find no burial.
The IGI entry which I think you refer to is patron submitted and is I think based on the 1841 census entry - taking the age 78 in 1851 (I suspect this would be accurate as given by his son) that gives birth 1772-1773 - there is no Henry Taubman baptised that I can find in this period but interestingly there is an illegitimate Henry born to Ann Hutchin in Malew in 1772 - no father's name given though it might well be worth checking presentments (and also Bishops transcripts as these sometimes added such information that came to light after the baptism.)
