Re the comment abt John Taubman's jw - I took a copy of Brian's index some time before it was moved - when I read 1799 episcopal I obviously had trouble as I needed to go to the new Manx Museum paper index and note the frame numbers - it is possible my copy was in error but in the past when I noted an error I found that that Brian modified his information.

Re the extracted vs non-extracted I wonder if someone has been using Joyce Oates info to change the IGI entry (it may have been JMO herself) as I noted other 'missing' entries when I did baptismal transcriptions - these entries often corresponded to those mentioned in wills she had transcribed.
