Re: passenger lists Australia/ New Zealand
In Response To: passenger lists? ()

If you do a google search for passenger lists Australia or passenger lists New Zealand, etc., you will find dozens.

These are the best of the official ones for Vic./NSW:
Victoria:

http://proarchives.imagineering.com.au/index_search.asp?searchid=24

Note that many names just have an initial or Mr or Mrs., so it is best to search by surname only.

New South Wales:

[There is a John Kewley under "Jno"]

These indexes often include the parents' names at death:

e.g. there is a John S. KEWLEY with father JAMES, mother ANN, d. SYDNEY in 1869.
