i now have read the two books by vera martin, and they were great reading and laughable, my book part one has 78 pages as averils has 88 so wne to see alan ay museum and my pages are writting small and the ones he has have colums spaced out a bit more so may that is why the other book has 88 but still all is there . book 2 has 68 pages, the poetry in them is true manxie person, i can now imagine me da in fredrick st and she has a little mention of mrs mccartins shop in fredrick st, dont know the lady but she was mentioned to me as a lily cain was given to mrs mccarten [ma mccarten a grand child of mungies crennell told me that what she was called ] lily was no relation to me i dont think , but the lady who e-mailed me said it was odd how lily cain was brought up by ma mccarten [ i think she was a crennell somewhere this ma ] and my dad geroge cain was given to mungie crennell, any way i now dont know what to do with books as i only read books one or twice and then they gather dust, my book one has writing in pen ;to lily and len best wishers vera martin 1980,, i wonder who lily and len were
