Years ago Liz in Douglas whole terraces or lines of
several houses were owned by people to rent out-
much safer than putting your money in the bank
which might " Crash " & you would lose all your
money. Tenancies were sometimes short & people
would move to another address every year or stay
put if they had a good landlord, or could stay where
they were. Now history is repeating itself & many
people invest in property to rent out- bricks & mortar are thought to be a good investment.
