Mary, I checked with one of the bookshops after Averil described her copy as "Part one, 88 pages, 14 Chapters, on front cover is Nield's Sweetshop Well Road Hill, Douglas, 1973. Nothing about part 2".

The bookshop replied "I would say from your description the copy I have is part one,14 chapters with the sweetshop on the front,75 pages.The cover or title page does not mention part one and I can not find any reference to a part two ( I even checked the British Library catalogue and could not find any mention of it) Part one does cover her childhood to young adult but no mention of marriage".

From the above it looks as though only Part 1 was published commercially, because all three bookshops had the same description.

If anyone wants to buy the other two 2nd-hand copies (see my previous message) let me know and I'll send the bookshops' details.
