Hi Everyone!
If anyone could help, I would be ever so grateful - I am going around in circles :)
I have an ancestor Ann Cretney 1786-1877, Lezayre area. She married Thomas Corlett in 1802 and they had 5 children. At some point he dies - i cant find a record of this i can match with certainty.
Ann turns up in 1851 in the census living at the family home Archdeacon Close with her daughter Catherine (Corlett) and John Black.
I cant find a record of her marrying a Kneale that makes sense - theres a George but then that would mean she had more children with him at 40 plus... and then no mention of them living with her in 1851 or later.
I cant find a convincing link to a Kneale bloke - or his death - as surely he died?
This link is important to me as it was Anne Kneale that left Archdeacon Close to my family (Black) - and it was purchased from a John Quayle. How did Anne afford this??
Where are her missing husbands??
The mind boggles...
Thanks, Sam
