I think this refers to the "Dick" Ballajora family, many of whose descendants emigrated.
John (Dick) Corkill 1715-1796, and his son John (Juan Dick) 1747-1822 who married Margaret Cannell of Ballaskeally, Onchan, in 1772.
Father John Corkill was the son of Ewan d.1754 & Isabel d.1748 [wills], Ewan being one of the three sons of James Corkill [d.1689] & Jony Callow [d.1688/89], according to CR.
