In the 1885 bio of JJ, it states that John the Elder remarried and was living in Ford County at that time.

There were only two John Corkill households in Ford County near that time according to the census, one in Mona and the other in Pella. Clearly John the elder was not living in Galva in 1880 so I had hoped he was already in Ford county.
