Very interesting! Especially since the Census record I looked up, specifically the 1911 England Census record for Ernest Leonard Stephenson, whose father was Harry, born on IOM... Had the column to far right "Infirmity", whited out for the whole page, and my family is the only one listed. Very curious why that would be done. Is that a common practice?
