Thanks, Averil - that's interesting about Elizabeth Jane Corkill d/o John b.1864, but unfortunately not the right John Stephenson. John Joseph STEPHENSON was bapt 13 Feb.1870 Saint Mathews, Douglas, and this one was b.1860.

But good to confirm one way or the other - thanks for that, and also for John Stephenson's father's name (John, father of John who married Jane Gell d/o Robt in 1863).
