MI= Monumental Inscription = cemetery stone writing

IOMFam Hx Soc has some booklets that list the MIs in the various parishes. The companion is the BR=Burial Register which lists the parish burials but not all parishes list the actual grave # (for example, Lonan doesn't)
There has been some information on this board that the local caretaker of the parish church might have a listing of who is in which grave.

I have the MIs for Lonan Old Yard and 1871 Yard--NO MI for a Robert Kelly.

In the Lonan Burial Register the entry for Robert Kelly buried 9 June 1897 says "no age given" residence Laxey Glen.
