It was a good idea to merge the Callister/Collister lists as that name is spelled so inconsistently even within one family. I did wonder what had happened to 'Cowley' though, until I discovered it was under the less common 'Cowle'. I'm no expert so up until now I imagined that Cowle and Cowell were variants of the same name and would have expected a separate list for Cowley. What's the accepted view?
