Donna - I'm now somewhat more convinced that Patk Cain of Ballamanaugh Michael married Alice Caine (d/o Wm Caine + Alice Looney of Ballaugh) in Ballaugh - I'd noted before that there was a 3 to 4 year gap in Ballaugh baptisms - there is also a 2 year gap in marriages around 1732-1734 which given their first recorded child is in 1735 would probably be when they married - it is possible that his heir John's baptism is also in the missing ballaugh entries. Anyway I've updated the Michael Orrisdal/Fourtowns page to include this.
