I was already aware of all the info on the Thomas D Corkills AFTER they arrived in the US I just needed the info that connected them to the Isle of Man and each other. And it's quite a tangled tree they left What I believe is that Thomas Dick Corkill and Margaret Fargher would be my 4th great-grandparents there daughters Mary (wife of William Callow) and Catherine (wife of James Corkill) would be my 3rd great-grandparents. I will try Mary's connection first William and Mary Callow's daughter Margaret married James C Corkill and they were the parents of My great grandfather Thomas C Cork(h)ill of whom I originally inquired.
Thomas Dick Corkill and Margaret Fargher's daughter Catherine married James Corkill (distantly related) they were the parents of the James C Corkill listed above which means my great great grandparents were maternal first cousins. An additional connection exists for me because Thomas Dick Corkill and Margaret Fargher's grandson Thomas D Corkill married Marcha Ann Haskins whose father John Haskins is my 3rd great grandfather.
Does the above sound right?,
