In the flurry of messages I forgot to answer your question about Margaret. Don't worry about abbreviations, of which there were many. Margt, Margret, Magret etc. would all be the same person - Margaret, which some clerks either couldn't spell or couldn't be bothered to write in full.
I think you can be certain that the Jurby family wasn't your one, because you can be sure that James Callow Corkill bapt 23 March 1862 was the son of James Callow Corkill and Margaret Callow, and these were the same parents as Thomas's, written on his marriage licence and was information which he would have given himself. James Callow Corkill's bapt was too close in age to one of the Jurby children, and they also had a later James in their family.
Jean thinks that the Jurby mother Margaret had the surname Gawne.
