thanks for the background on Constance Radcliffe, Sue, of course will credit as suggested, and I would appreciate being able to complete that Croggane history. I did locate Emily Shimmin with Mary Jane Shimmin and her mother Anne, in 1871 Castletown. I'm guessing that the girl's father was a Keggin, as she took that name by 1881. Mary Jane's sister Sarah married Thomas Keggin so I'm still trying to sort that out! Love small towns, and small islands!
