Hi Jean, I just assumed they were married but also can find no marriage for Moses/M.Skelly. In 1881 Moses was 22 & a farm servant for Edward Gale who was married to Moses' sister Catherine (Kinvig), if Moses was John & elizabeth's son & not a relation. In 1891 census list (Lawson's) Margaret Kinvig was 31 & Margaret was 2. In 1901 Census list Margaret Kinvig was 42 & now Maggie is 12. The birth in manxbmd is Maggie Arbory C.1 164. No Moses in these census so if he emigrated he left wife & Maggie on IOM for several years. I've just ordered the MI for Arbory so hopefully when it's printed & sent to me I'll glean more info. There is a Margaret Skelly aged 22 in 1881 census living with parents & a Thomas E Gale is a 5 year old grandson. Maybe through the Gales she met Moses
