The IOMFHS are printed and thus are totally legible The Society has done a great job over the years of publishing these items. They have christening, burial registers and MIs for most parishes, Notably missing is Ramsey--not a parish but a big population center.
If your ancestors are basically confined to a parish or two over generations, they are quite helpful.

Nowdays there is a LOT of info available on the internet. Frances' Manx Notebook is a goldmine of info. The baptism, marriage, burial, will info is largely on line now.

The genealogy board has a number of great folks on it and many have lots of helpful info.
