I'll be interested to see if there's any mention of a Kinvig family who were living in Helena, Montana in 1906. Amongst the items which were stored for many years in the attic of my grandparents' farmhouse are a batch of postcards from 1906/7 which were sent to my great aunt, Nellie Kneen b 1886 from a Madge Kinvig in Helena. I don't know if Madge's Kinvig family had emigrated before Madge's birth, so that Nellie and Madge were penfriends, or whether Madge had lived on the IOM as a young girl. We also have 2 photos from Helena, Montana, which my grandpa labelled as "Maggie Kinvig". I'd love to identify her.
