I had an email from the person who went to a FHC to search those Ramsey records for you, wondering whether you managed to find Margaret Lewis's birth cert., and if so what was her mother's maiden name?

I had a look on Free BDM for a Margaret who would have been aged 2 in 1871, and there was this one in Liverpool:
Births Jun quarter 1868: LEWIS Margaret, Liverpool 8b 189.

Of course, there may be others. You could ask the Liverpool local RO for a search for the birth entry for Margaret Lewis aged 2 in the 1871 census, b.Liverpool, who has a mother Catherine, if too hard to identify her on the GRO indexes?

Or perhaps already found?
