Hi Frances, I do realise by reading through this particular thread that this subject is probably the last thing you want to talk about but I can`t help asking as it is very interesting.

It would seem the royal descent from the Christian/Curwen, Christian/Senhouse lines would be extremely large in the Island.I am very interested in the earl James and wife line though, it seems like this would be a much rarer thing.

The line of earl James and his wife went down through the Gawnes didn`t it, do you know of the families this particular line went through after that?

Is the connection suggested in the Three Brew royal descents in Manxnotebook legit?
- And for that matter what about the connection between the Brews and the African Kings of Akwamu, Fanti and Dunkwa. - very strange.

When you say that Charlotte de la Tremoüille was linked to just about every European Royal line back to the Romans, does that go back further than the Greek emperors of Constantinople in the eleventh century? - that`s about as far back as I could get before my brain started to melt.
