Madame,
I am observing on this day, yourself and your "gang of rowdies," in an attempt to "shout me down," so to speak. This shall not be of effect, as I unlike your gang, am an American, and as we say, being bullied just does not fly well here.
Madame, I merely offered your people a completely verifyable lineage chart, depicting several Manx family lines to which I have discovered have positive linkage to British Royalty. My sources are quite numerous and are indeed provided upon request. For you to attempt to have myself do your own personal genealogical work, and then to critisize my finding is unacceptable. As "Baron Percy," I madame, do not answer to you or anyone else. No matter the number of peasantry involved.
YOU Madame threw the gauntlet down by critisizing my 'chart,' parenthesis noted. HOW DARE YOU! I do not give a flying frig concerning your local reputation. I am now perhaps understanding why my grandparents departed from your little communal island. You somewhat remind me of the inbred Applalacian people in West Virginia, who will not venture out into the real world out of fear. Their ignorance is appalling. I have even understood that you have banned from Manx radio the likes of the very enlightened Roy Masters. A genius in Human psychology and anthropology. Yes, indeed I am quite aware of your liberal, socialist views. Perhaps your new and current American 'King of Mann, ' David Howe, will open up your minds and attitudes.
As far as the genealogy itself, the Manx census dates to 1841 if I recall. Other information has been provided by the involved family records, such as the Christian family, who due to their aristocracy have indeed kept precise and detailed records. Once into the Royal families, it is quite easy to find the numerous references necessary. The nobles also kept detailed records, including illegetimate children, of which I am not of, as one of your gang had hinted.
The bottom line being as folows. I am simply offereing a chart of royalty. I would think that you people would be thankful and at least open minded. In return, you insult my work without even viewing such. Unlike yourself, I am an internationally known genealogist. My methods may differ from yours, this being the modern age of higher technology. I am not specifically concerned in becoming bogged down of whom and when Uncle Bob from a tiny Manx town was baptised. I persued such matter in years past. My genealogy now deals in the great people of history.
As far as my manner. I am generally known as a fair and rather genial person. However do not expect for me to act in a manner preportioned to your current nobility standards as someone inferred. Although I am a 20th cousin to the current Queen of England, I am not in that particular clan of bondage. I am an American! On my father's side an Irish-American, so you do see that point (don't mess with). I am also more of the Royal manner of say, my 21st Great grandfather, King Edward III. Or perhaps "Longshanks" himself, my 21st ggf. Perhaps even King William I, "the Conqueror," my 29th Great grandfather. These royals, if you know your history, quite possibly would have a critics head on a pole. Especially a self blown critic, who knows nothing concerning what my work is about, and has not even seen said work. Madame, I have not yet critized your work, and it is YOU who owe ME an apology!!!
