Princes Street was newly built in 1871 .
Whether the houses were inhabited by the early
spring in time for the census I do not know.

Barrack Street still exists in the oldest part of town
but many of the buildings were demolished long ago.

If you can give more details of names etc. I would
try help with 1871/1881 censuses. Someone may be
able to do an address search but I cannot.
