Re: William Moore Clague. MI lookup please.
In Response To: Re: William Moore Clague ()

Please could some kind person look up a Santon MI for William Moore Clague (could be under C for Clague or M for Moore-Clague.)

In Lawson's burial index, there's a William Moore Clague age 80 San 25 Mar 1924. I'd assumed that this couldn't be the right person, since my Wm Moore Clague was born in 1860 or 1861.

I've just spotted a pedigree resource file for him on familysearch which gives a date of death as 22 Mar 1942, so I'm wondering whether there could be a date error on the Lawson list.

I'm pretty sure that it'll be in Santon, although in the pedigree resource file, William's wife Eleanor Quaggin Moore Clague is supposedly buried in Santon, stone X25, date of death 27-5-1963, but in Lawson's list, she appears as being buried in Malew
Eleanor Quaggin Moore CLAGUE 79 Mal 31-5-1963.

Also, is there any mention of a son William's burial (age 2 ) ? I hadn't known about this until I read it in the pedigree resource file which says "MI, Santan (stone X25) Also William Moore their son died 2 "

Their 2 other sons appear in Lawson as being buried in Malew in the 1970s and 1980s, one of them being a William ( William Thomas Newell Moore Clague)
