apologies for not being clear about the "oddments". The Jane Clague I mentioned in 1871 refers to William's wife Jane Clague nee Taggart, with a niece Elizabeth Taggart, who is 14yrs old. In 1871 she is in Ballakilpatrick road, Rushen, living with William's brother John, who is a Farmer of 8 acres. I thought you might be interested in following Jane Taggart's family, which is why I included it in the oddments. I had not meant to imply this was Thomas and Esther's daughter. This information refers to Thomas and Esther's sons William and John. Both Jane's are the same age, which adds to the confusion, but I agree Jane Clague nee Clague is with Charles and family in 1871: as they are in 1881, with Eleanor 15, Alfred 14, Alice 9. and Anna 5.
