I was wondering if you knew anything on the Gawne's of Santon. I am looking for any info on John Gawne born there about 1816 who married Esther Kneale. Their son William married Eleanor Clarke. I notice that I have diferent parents for Eleanor Clark from you. I have her as daughter of John Clark and Isabella Cain. In 1861 William Gawne and Eleanor are living with her mother Isabella and her 3rd husband John Sayle.
Any help on the Gawnes would be greatly appreciated.
