Thanks Jane, I was intrigued... but checking my tree 1700 - 2005 I have no Gawne's or Kermode's. I do have Ann and Anne Kneen's but dates or parents do not tally. Still a very interesting list produced.

I have checked my IGI records of over 3000 Kneen's and I can confirm the Anne you mentioned was the daughter of Richard Kneen and Eleanor Kermode chr 11 Jan 1835 at Kirk Rushen source info: flim # C038251 serial/sheet 6381 but the 8 could be a 3. But this christening needs to be confirmed in the original Parish register ok.

Our Kneen's were from Kirk Christ Lezayre and Kirk Braddan, and now Douglas and Kirk Michael.
