Hello again, Ed:
I haven't heard from Shirley, but I suspect her James Kneen, born about 1833, is really James Kaneen, born 1823. I found a Margaret Kenine in the 1860 Cleveland census, age 20 (in family of Benj. Tigert, blacksmith, Cleveland Ward 1 # 2044), and a marriage of Margaret Kaneen and Thomas Penty in 1863.
