Two sons:
1. James Ratcliff b.c.1630, died 1689, of Belfast, married Nelly KINREAD Nov 10th 1663.
2.John Ratcliff b.c.1635, of Crot-e-Lough, died 1669 [will]. Wife alive but unnamed.
John’s 4 underage children in 1669 will [born between c.1663 & 1669] have uncle James Ratcliff as their supervisor.

3. Margaret b.c.1668 (not included in grandfather’s 1668 will, but was at lawful age in Dec.1682).

Her will names her husband, her unmarried son Philip Radcliffe, her son Thomas Radcliffe and his son John Radcliffe, and her daughter Jony who was married to Philip Kynry.
John RADCLIFF died 29 April 1701: decree to his 3 children: son Thomas, daughter Jony, & son Philip: [next of kin to his three underage children were his brothers Thomas and James Radcliffe, supervisors].

2. Thomas bapt 2 Feb.1736/37, joiner, died Sept.17th 1807 aged 71 [MI]. Buried Andreas Sept.18th 1807, and his will which gave the same date of death mentions wife Margaret, Thomas his eldest son, and John his younger son [will is on Brian Lawson's website].
Thomas RADCLIFFE 1737-1807 married [1] Margaret SKINNER 2 May 1772 in the presence of Wm Radcliffe Parish clerk, and John Radcliffe, Sumner. Their son Thomas was bapt.14 Feb.1773. Margaret Radcliffe als Skinner was buried 7th Feb.1774, a year later. In her will she left her son £12 to be laid out on interest for the use of her child who was to be sent to school by her husband “until he can read and write, that he may understand the Dealings of this Isle”.
Margaret RADCLIFFE als SKINNER 1774-2 Andreas Arch will no.116: Father Wm Skinner, son Thomas Radcliffe, husband Thomas Radcliffe, sister Joney Skinner, 2 sisters Anne & Cath Skinner, brother Danl Skinner. Danl, Willm, Anne, Joney, Cath, Skinner the minor’s uncles and aunts by the mother’s side supervisors.
In the 1784 will of Daniel Skinner, brother of Margaret, Daniel left half a guinea to Thomas Radcliffe his sister’s son. As was unusual for that time, Thomas signed the receipt when he received the bequest in 1791. He also wrote the documents attached to John Radcliffe’s 1802 will, regarding his role as “the uncle’s son supervisor” of John’s grandchildren Margaret and Thomas Radcliffe.

Thomas Radcliffe and his two sons were passengers on the 'Ocean', which arrived New York from Liverpool July13, 1827: “Thos Radcliffe 54 joiner; John 18 joiner; Thos 15 joiner.”
