Hi Mark
The church is the Parish Church of Bride , St Bridget. The problem you have is the current Church was consecrated in 1870 and first used in 1872, not sure what happened to the old church , Frances will know.
Looked for the children of Thomas and Elizabeth for confirmation :
1844 Thomas
1846 William
1849 John
1851 Esther
1854 Betsey/Elizabeth
1860 Sophy/Sophia
1841 census
Thomas 31
Elizabeth 33
Henry 10
William 5
John 2
1851 Census
Thomas 44
Elizabeth 43
Esther 9
Elizabeth 7
Sophia 1
1861 Census
Thomas 50
Elizabeth 50
Elizabeth 16
Sophia 10
Cannot find Henry's birth , if age is right before marriage , no Henry Christian to Elizabeth.
Thomas born 1844 disappears , only possible death was in Braddan.
There is also a possible Catherine b 1843 , can't find a death and not on 1851 census.
Sophy's christening in 1860 shows they were living at "Ballakey"
John not with family on 1861 census.
William Teare was witness at marriage of Thomas and Elizabeth , the other witness I can't make out.
The Vicars on all the documents were :
John Nelson 1830 - 1847
Daniel Nelson 1847 - 1875
Cheers
David
